Your workspace has a start date. Orders eBay created on or after it are imported; orders before it stay out, permanently. You are asked about it once, right after connecting, and it is in Settings → Connections after that.
Why it defaults to 14 days
Speed. A 14-day first import finishes in moments. A 90-day pass on a busy shop is hundreds of calls to eBay and can take several minutes to three quarters of an hour. Defaulting to two weeks means you see real figures straight away, and you can reach further back deliberately once you have.
Why 90 days is the hard limit
Because that is how far eBay's Finances ledger goes. Beyond roughly 90 days eBay will not tell anyone what it charged you in fees for an order. Baiord could import the order, but it would be an order with no fees — revenue dressed up as profit. So the earliest date you can pick is 89 days ago, giving a window of at most 90 days.
This is a limit in eBay's API, not a Baiord setting, and no plan changes it. If you need profit on orders older than 90 days, the fees for them have to come from your own records.
Why it only moves earlier
Moving it later would mean deleting orders you already have, along with the buying prices you typed on them and every month total they are part of. So the date is a floor that can be lowered and never raised. Baiord says as much when you try: "orders already held are never removed".
Two rules follow from that, and they are worth knowing:
- An order Baiord already holds keeps updating forever, whatever its date. A refund or a fee correction on a two-month-old order still lands.
- An order Baiord does not hold is never let in — not by a later refund, not by a fee change. Old history cannot creep into your figures after the fact.
Moving it earlier
- Go to Settings → Connections. The card reads Orders held from {date}.
- Press Move start date….
- Pick 30, 60 or 90 days ago, or type a date.
- Confirm. Everything between the new date and the old one — orders and fees — imports once, over the next few minutes. Orders you already had are refreshed, never duplicated.
A big history import can take up to about 45 minutes, and Baiord keeps retrying if it is interrupted. The progress box at the bottom right shows it live.

A second eBay account
A new account joining a workspace inherits that workspace's existing start date. It does not reset to 14 days.
Not the same as "outside the figures"
If a month's profit is missing orders, the start date is usually not the reason. Orders → Outside the figures lists orders a month does not count and why — normally because they are awaiting a buying price, or because their eBay fees have not imported. That is a different problem with a different fix.
