Cookie Policy
Effective 4 August 2026
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser so it can remember you between pages and visits. Most cookie policies are long because the sites behind them track a lot. This one is short because we don't.
The whole list
On this website (baiord.com)
- No cookies at all. The only thing stored is one entry in your browser's local storage that remembers you dismissed the cookie notice, so it does not greet you on every visit. It identifies nothing about you.
In the app (app.baiord.com)
- Sign-in cookies (essential) — keep you signed in securely and protect forms against forgery. Without these the app cannot work, which is why the law does not require consent for them.
- Preference cookies (essential) — small settings such as whether you keep the sidebar collapsed.
- Referral cookie — set only if you arrive through a partner's referral link, so we know who introduced you if you later subscribe. It lasts 60 days, contains only the partner's code, and tracks nothing you do.
What we do not use
- No advertising cookies.
- No third-party analytics.
- No social media pixels.
- No cross-site tracking of any kind.
Payment pages
When you pay, checkout happens on Stripe's own pages, and Stripe sets cookies it needs to process payments securely and prevent fraud. Those are covered by Stripe's privacy policy. The same goes for eBay's own pages when you authorize the connection there.
Controlling cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser's settings at any time. Blocking the app's essential cookies will sign you out and stop the app working — that is what "essential" means. Clearing this site's local storage simply makes the cookie notice reappear.
Changes
If we ever add a cookie, it gets listed here first and the date above changes. Questions: support@baiord.com. More on how we handle data generally: the Privacy Policy.
