Privacy Policy

Baiord shows eBay sellers what they actually earn. Doing that means handling your trading data, and this page explains exactly what we collect, why, where it goes and what you can do about it — in plain English, because a privacy policy you cannot read is not a policy.
Who is responsible
KEASKILL LTD, registered in England & Wales (company 14977083), 71 Victoria Crescent, Eccles, Manchester, England, M30 9AN, is the data controller for Baiord (baiord.com and app.baiord.com). For anything in this policy, contact support@baiord.com.
What we collect
What you give us
- Account details — your name, email address and a password (stored only as a cryptographic hash, never as the password itself), and the name you choose for your store workspace.
- Your bookkeeping — product costs, supplier names, stock batches and expenses you enter to complete your profit picture.
- Support messages — what you write to us when you ask for help.
- Affiliate payout details — only if you join the affiliate programme: the bank account (country, IBAN, account number) or PayPal address you ask to be paid at.
What eBay shares when you connect
You connect through eBay's official authorization — we never see or store your eBay password. eBay then lets Baiord read:
- your orders and transactions,
- your fees, payouts and financial ledger,
- your returns, refunds and cancellations,
- your seller standards.
This access is read-only. Baiord can never change your listings, prices or orders, and you can revoke the connection at any time from your eBay account or from Baiord's settings.
What we collect automatically
- Technical records — server logs (IP address, time, request) kept for security and troubleshooting.
- Referral — if you arrive through a partner's link, a cookie records which partner sent you (see the Cookie Policy).
We run no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics on baiord.com or app.baiord.com.
What we use it for
- Providing the service — importing your orders, reconciling fees, calculating profit, sending the alerts you switch on (performance of our contract with you).
- Billing — managing your subscription and invoices (contract and legal obligation).
- Support — answering you when you write to us (contract).
- Security and abuse prevention — rate limiting, log review (legitimate interests).
- Service emails — receipts, password resets, alerts about your own account. We do not sell marketing lists and we do not spam.
We never sell your data. We never share your trading data with other customers or advertisers. Your numbers are your business — literally.
Who processes it for us
- Railway (hosting, United States) — runs our servers and database.
- Stripe — handles card payments. Your card number goes to Stripe directly and never touches our servers; we see only what Stripe reports (amount, status, last digits).
- eBay — the source of your trading data, under your authorization.
- Email — service emails are sent from our own mail server.
Where data leaves the UK (our hosting is in the United States), it travels under recognised safeguards such as the UK Addendum to Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Your account and bookkeeping data: for as long as your account exists.
- eBay-derived data: deleted when its connection is removed with history deletion, and automatically when eBay tells us an account has been closed.
- Billing records: as long as tax law requires (currently six years in the UK).
- Server logs: rotated on a short schedule.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to: show you the data we hold about you (access), correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, and hand it over in a portable format (your orders and profit are exportable as CSV from the app at any time). Email support@baiord.com and we will act on it. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this policy changes in any way that matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect. The date at the top is always the version you are reading.
