Orders held from 15 Oct 2026

Orders eBay created before this date stay out of Baiord for good — a fee change or a refund on one never brings it in. Orders already held keep updating whatever their date. The date can move earlier, never later.

Grant application access: Baiord

Baiord is requesting read-only access to your seller account. It will be able to:

View your orders and order history
View your fees, payouts and transactions
View your returns, refunds and cancellations
View your active listings and seller standard

Baiord cannot change your listings, prices or orders. You can withdraw this access at any time from your eBay account settings.

From which date should Baiord hold your eBay orders?

Your account is importing from 15 Oct 2026 — the last 14 days. Keep that, or choose an earlier date to bring in more history. Orders placed before your start date stay out of Baiord for good, even when eBay changes their fees later, so old history never clutters your figures. eBay only serves fees for the last 90 days, so that is the furthest a start date can reach; and it never moves later.

LiveSigning up, playing on its own: four fields and Create account. There is no empty dashboard — Baiord takes you straight to eBay to approve read-only access, and you come back to orders already importing.

The sign-up form

FieldWhat to put
Full nameYour own name. It is what your team sees beside anything you change.
WorkspaceYour shop name. This becomes your workspace and the web address you work in; you can rename it later.
EmailThe address you want support and alerts to reach.
PasswordTyped twice, to catch a slip.

You may see a short "are you human" check above the button. While it is still thinking, the button reads Waiting for verification… — give it a second and it becomes Create account.

What a workspace is

A workspace is one set of books: one eBay account, its orders, its profit, its expenses and its team. Keeping it to one account per workspace is deliberate — two sellers' orders mixed into one P&L is a figure nobody can use.

If you trade on more than one eBay account, you give each one its own workspace and switch between them. See using more than one eBay account.

Where you land next

Baiord does not drop you on an empty dashboard. The moment your account exists it signs you in and sends you straight to eBay's consent screen, because an empty Baiord is not worth looking at and a connected one is. You sign in to eBay, approve read-only access, and come back to orders already importing.

If that hand-off does not happen for any reason, you land on your dashboard with a Connect eBay card waiting. Nothing is lost; just press it.

Confirming your email

Two emails arrive: a welcome, and a Confirm your email address link. Open the confirmation and press the button on the page — the link is single-use, and some mail apps quietly "visit" links to preview them, which is why confirming takes a click rather than happening when the page loads.

Joining someone else's workspace instead

If you were sent an invite link, sign up through that link. The workspace field disappears, because you are joining books that already exist rather than starting your own — there is nothing to name and nothing extra to pay. Invite links are good for 7 days.

An invite is tied to the email address it was sent to. Signing up with a different address and then opening the link gives you "This invitation was sent to a different email address" — ask for a new invite to the address you actually used.

More in Getting started

What Baiord doesThe short version: Baiord reads your eBay sales and fees, you add what you paid your supplier, and real profit computes itself. Currency and time zoneBoth are taken from your eBay marketplace rather than asked for, why that matters for month totals, and when to change them.

Still stuck? A person reads every message.

Email support@baiord.com

Baiord connects to eBay through eBay's developer APIs with read-only permissions, approved on eBay's own sign-in page. It cannot list, end or reprice an item, message a buyer, issue a refund or move money, and it never sees your eBay password. You can withdraw its access at any time, from Baiord or from your eBay account.

Profit is what eBay reports — the sale, the postage your buyer paid, any discount you gave and every fee eBay charged — less the buying price you enter, with refunds, fee credits and supplier refunds on the order they belong to. Sales tax and VAT that eBay collects and remits are neither revenue nor cost. An order without a buying price is left out of profit until it has one.

Days and months start at midnight in your workspace's time zone — the zone eBay cuts your statements in, set from your marketplace. A refund counts in the month it arrived unless you choose the month of the original order.

Prices are in US dollars and are the whole price; no VAT is added. Each eBay account has its own workspace, so two sets of books never mix: Solo covers one account, Multi covers three.

Features are subject to change. Some features, such as Finance, are switched on per workspace.
