If you would rather work in a grid than a form, Spreadsheet mode on the Orders page gives you one: "Price orders like a spreadsheet".

Price orders like a spreadsheet

5 unpriced lines from All time · Paste a block straight from Google Sheets or Excel — rows and columns land where your cursor is. Enter moves down, ⌘D fills the column downward.

Each unit price is per item; supplier fields are optional. Rows save through the same cost ledger as every other entry.

Save 0 prices
LiveSpreadsheet mode, playing on its own: the orders waiting for a price laid out as a grid. Type a price and press Enter to drop to the next row, fill a supplier down the column with ⌘D, then save every row in one go. A multi-product order is one row per product.

What is in the grid

The orders still waiting for a price, narrowed by whatever search, filter chip and date range you had on the Orders page. It loads the first 100 lines and says so when more are waiting.

Columns you can editColumns that are just there
Buying price / unit, Supplier order #, Supplier Order, Date, Product, Qty, Sold

The editable columns are tinted, so it is obvious where you are meant to type. An order with several products becomes several rows; only the first carries the order number and the rest read ↳ same order.

Keyboard and paste

  • Enter or ↓ — down a row
  • ↑ — up a row
  • → leaves a cell only from the end of its text, and ← only from the start, so editing inside a cell still works normally
  • ⌘D / Ctrl+D — fill the column downward from where you are
  • Paste a block copied from Google Sheets or Excel and it spreads across rows and columns from the focused cell

Saving

One button, Save {n} prices. Rows are saved individually: the ones that worked turn green with a tick and lock, and any that failed turn red and stay editable so you can fix them without redoing the rest. The toast tells you both numbers.

Prices entered here go through exactly the same ledger as every other route in — they are not a special case, and they appear in buying-price history the same way.

Baiord connects to eBay through eBay's developer APIs with read-only permissions, approved on eBay's own sign-in page. It cannot list, end or reprice an item, message a buyer, issue a refund or move money, and it never sees your eBay password. You can withdraw its access at any time, from Baiord or from your eBay account.

Profit is what eBay reports — the sale, the postage your buyer paid, any discount you gave and every fee eBay charged — less the buying price you enter, with refunds, fee credits and supplier refunds on the order they belong to. Sales tax and VAT that eBay collects and remits are neither revenue nor cost. An order without a buying price is left out of profit until it has one.

Days and months start at midnight in your workspace's time zone — the zone eBay cuts your statements in, set from your marketplace. A refund counts in the month it arrived unless you choose the month of the original order.

Prices are in US dollars and are the whole price; no VAT is added. Each eBay account has its own workspace, so two sets of books never mix: Solo covers one account, Multi covers three.

Features are subject to change. Some features, such as Finance, are switched on per workspace.
